Michael Shaw, Executive Vice President, CFO, Principal, offers a unique blend of accounting skills and a solid turf background.  Mike is a graduate of Indiana State University with a BS degree in Accounting and Danville Community College in Illinois with an AS in Agronomy.  With a background in both commercial real estate and golf facility management he brings a unique insight into the daily operations of our facilities. While in turf school, Mike worked at Crooked Stick Golf Club, a private club in Indianapolis, and ultimately was awarded the Pete Dye Scholarship.  His enthusiasm for turf management was unmatched and he went on to graduate at the top of his class.  After graduation he served as the Assistant Superintendent at Bear Slide Golf Club in Cicero, Indiana for several years and in 1997 Mike accepted his first Golf Course Superintendent position at Salt Creek Golf Club in Nashville, Indiana.  Over the last 11 years as a Director for H.G Mike has overseen many construction and renovation projects including the complete redesign and build of a nine hole public golf course on Lake Wawasee in northern Indiana.  Mike's education and background enable him to manage any project to its fullest potential.   Mike has been the CFO for HG Golf Properties for the past 11 years and provides valuable support both in the office and in the field. He will be an integral part of the growth and structure of Green Golf Management as his wisdom and foresight will assure the continued success and position of the company in the acquisition and management of future projects.
